AppLimit Privacy Policy

Effective: September 22, 2026 · 한국어

AppLimit (the “App”) helps users manage their own app usage. This policy explains how information is handled by the App.

Summary: The App has no account system or proprietary server. Screen Time selections and limit settings remain on the device and are never sent to the advertising service. A Google AdMob banner appears at the bottom of the App.

1. Information we do not collect

The developer does not collect or transmit names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, or other directly identifying personal information to a proprietary server.

2. Screen Time data

App usage is processed on-device by Apple Screen Time. The App cannot read the actual usage time of individual apps or the names and identifiers of apps selected by the user. Apple provides the selection only as opaque tokens.

You can revoke Screen Time permission at any time in iOS Settings. Usage detection and blocking will stop working when permission is revoked.

3. Information stored on the device

This information is stored only in the device’s App Group container so the App and its Screen Time extensions can work together. It is not sent to an external server or advertising service. Deleting the App also deletes these settings.

4. Notifications

Limit notifications are generated locally on the device. No push-notification server is used, and notification permission can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.

5. Advertising and third-party services

The App uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display a banner ad. Google may process coarse location inferred from an IP address, device or other identifiers, advertising data, product interactions, crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic data. The actual data processed may vary based on device settings, region, consent choices, and ad-delivery requirements.

The App configures Google Mobile Ads for non-personalized treatment, disables Google’s Publisher First-Party ID, and does not request Apple App Tracking Transparency permission. The developer does not retain advertising data on a proprietary server.

Where required, the App uses Google’s consent form and provides access to advertising privacy choices. Learn more in the Google Privacy Policy.

6. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the App or applicable laws change. Any revision and its effective date will be posted on this page.
